It allows us to find new meaning in our relationship with nature and surroundings to improve our wellbeing and connect with one another through teamwork and competition.   Gearing up for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, B.C., the Italian Trade Commission, under the banner of the Italy for Sport promotional campaign, is pleased to announce an exhibition of world renowned Italian sporting goods and equipment. From October 22-31 get a sneak peek at the revolutionary, cutting-edge equipment that will surely be contributing to new world records in Vancouver.   Over the years specifically designed equipment and clothing have come to define certain sports as much as the sports themselves. These items have undergone constant change due to the process of research and technological innovation in the pursuit of improved performance and ergonomic design.   Dedicated to all those who engage in sports or are sports fans, this exhibition will provide the opportunity to see and learn about Italian excellence in the field of sporting equipment. Equipment and apparel from more than 80 elite manufacturers will be on display, showcasing the newest designs and technologies created to meet the demanding requirements of performance athletes.   The journey through Sport & Design.it has been laid out in sections featuring the equipment used in each sport. Each section will also display apparel specific to each sport in disciplines where clothing and accessories allow athletes to compete at their best.
