The Italian Trade Commission participates in the 49th edition of the Toronto International Boat Show January 13-21, 2007
During this past month of January, the Italian Trade Commission with the cooperation of UCINA , the Italian Marine Industry Association, participated at the 49th edition of the Toronto International Boat Show, the most important show in boating industry in Canada. The 500sq ft Italian Trade Commission's stand acted as virtual host to 34 italian companies, members of UCINA, offering products ranging from super yacht class vessels to pleasure boats, parts, components and accessories, as well as representing Italy's strong niche in interior design for the marine industry.
Through the company catalogues and brochures exhibited throughout, as well as the UCINA DVD's on the Italian nautical industry featured in the stand, Exhibitors and show-goers alike were impressed by the level of quality and design offered by these Italian producers, and amazed to learn of Italy's leadership in super yacht manufacturing. This initiative in fact marks the first of its kind for the Italian nautical industry in the Canadian market, and will serve as the initial step in bringing the Canadian press and buying public closer to Italian boats and coasts.
