Italian Jewellery Week in Toronto
On April 18th, the Italian Trade Commission organized a celebration for Italian Jewellery Week in Toronto. The event, aimed to excite Canadians from coast to coast with the innovation, artistry and style of Italian jewellers, proved a great success, and was launched with “Sublime”, a jewellery show which took place at Edward Day Gallery.
For the occasion, a mass advertising and public awareness campaign was planned for key urban centres in Canada. The public would have been invited to learn about Italian Jewellery through an interactive online museum, as well as visit participating retailers to see first hand how Italian jewellery design comes to life.
The unique quality of Italian products was confirmed once again with the presence of seven retailers/importers who brought to the their fine art to the opening event, with the innovation, design and style of Italian jewellery exhibited in beautifully set showcases. Furthermore, the event featured the shine and dazzle of jewels worn by models, and admired by invited guests and media representatives.
