FAST CHILLER: DRINKS AT THE IDEAL TEMPERATURE, FAST
Rome (Ign) - An instant refrigerator for drinks, suitable both for private homes and for bars and restaurants, which can be used both for mineral water and champagne. This is Fast Chiller, a device that makes it possible to bring bottles of wine, beer, soft drinks or sparkling wine to the perfect serving temperature, while maintaining their taste and aroma qualities. It is manufactured by Ital Chill (www.italchill.it), a company from Parma, the only producer with a complete range of devices for professional and home use, for domestic and amateur applications, as well as for recreational activities. It has been tested over the years with highly satisfying results, to the point that it has a registered trademark, and has become a benchmark for this type of device, which today are known as "Fast Chillers".
Simple to use, thanks to the flexible settings, Fast Chiller allows all types of wine to be suitably cooled, exalting their aroma and taste, without altering their characteristics, a fact that has brought an acknowledgement from the Association of Sommeliers of Trentino. The device works thanks to a refrigerating liquid contained in an insulated tank which is maintained - by means of a thermodynamic system - at a temperature ranging from -30 °C to -40 °C, according to the model and factory settings. The bottles are inserted through the lid which covers the tank, inside flexible thermal sheathes fixed to the lid itself and immersed in the liquid. The cold of the liquid is rapidly transmitted to the bottles without getting them wet by means of conduction. The chiller functions on a continuous cycle, just like any domestic or professional refrigerator, but has extremely low energy consumption in standby. When first turned on, it takes around three hours before the rapid cooling function can be used, while full capacity is achieved after about six hours. The liquid is neither toxic nor flammable.
Its versatility makes it possible to cool water and cans in 3 minutes, and grappa or vodka in 20/25 minutes. The units are compact and transportable, and all of them occupy less space than a traditional cooling unit and require less time to achieve the same results. The device is available in 6 different versions, designed to satisfy all the needs of the consumer: the TT and TTX series are the "classic" models and, like the FS3 and FS3X models, can cool up to 3 bottles at once. The FS3W model is made in wood, and is available in three colours, to better adapt to all kinds of furnishing. This model is ideal for wine merchants, wine bars, bars, restaurants, hotels, trade fair stands and catering, and looks good in any surroundings. The Nautic series meanwhile is designed to be used on boats: it is elegant, easy-to-handle and portable.
