25TH BIRTHDAY FOR BIT

IT'S THE 25TH BIRTHDAY OF BIT, THE BORSA INTERNAZIONALE DEL TURISMO
Rome - (Adnkronos Multimedia) - It's the 25th birthday of Bit, the Borsa Internazionale del Turismo (International Tourism Bourse - www.bit.expocts.it), the largest European fair for holidays, business travel and organised tourism. And for this occasion, from 12 to 15 February 2005 at the Milan Trade Fair, the layout and organisation of Bit will be completely renewed, to offer a wider range of proposals and a showcase in continuous development. Various exhibition 'trails' are in fact planned, with the aim of focusing on specific sectors of the tourist industry.
The first of these trails is Buytali, the most important opportunity for foreign tourist demand to meet Italian supply, with two days of business meetings between over 3000 Italian sellers and 450 selected International buyers from over 40 countries. The second trail is Bit Green, where countryside and tourism meet. This is a new phenomenon for Italy, which differs from agritourism in that it is aimed at showing the reality of daily life in the countryside. The first edition will present a wide panorama of the Italian offer, arranged by local circuits, organised and coordinated by public and private bodies and run by national trade associations. Third trail: Bit Incentive, a new exhibition area presenting the top Italian and International organisers of meetings and congresses.
Then there are the other trails, already tried out in previous editions of the show: Bit Spa, dedicated to spa resorts, well-being and beauty farms; Bit Golf, aimed at golf tourism; Bit OpenAir, focussed on tourism in the great outdoors; Bit Virtual, dealing with technological innovation in tourism; Bit Gusto, dedicated to local products, food and wine.
The latest innovation of this 25th edition is Bit For Job, the place where those who are looking for work can find it, and those offering work can meet their target; where those offering training can present themselves to their ideal public, and those looking for training can find the body that will provide it. It will include a job research area, where seminars and workshops will be held on specific themes.
