Finlombarda Gestioni SGR SpA is the management company of Finlombarda, the Financial Institution for the development of the Lombardy Region. Finlombarda Gestioni SGR manages two funds: Next and Euromed. Next, a fund of funds and co-investment fund, is specialised in Early Stage Venture Capital and is oriented in particular towards innovation, R&D and new technologies with the aim to develop a Venture Capital market in the Lombardy Region. Euromed invests in joint ventures between European SMEs, mainly Italian, and SMEs based in non-European countries facing the Mediterranean sea, fostering international cooperation.
Finlombarda is the financial branch of Lombardy Region which provides financial and legal assistance and financial management services to the Region of Lombardy in planning and implementing development programs, working closely with the manufacturing and financial sectors, local governments and international organizations.
