S.M.A.R.T. (Shipping, Manufacturing, Alliance, and Research Technology) INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP La Spezia, Italy 8th, 9th and 10th November 2007
The Italian Trade Commission-Miami is in the process of finalizing the upcoming trade mission to the 2007 Shipping, Manufacturing, Alliance, and Research Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) workshop being held from November 8-10 in La Spezia, Italy. The S.M.A.R.T. workshop is dedicated to the shipbuilding and naval engineering industry.
As one of the co-organizers of this event, The Italian Trade Commission (ICE) will be bringing many of the world's leading shipyards to S.M.A.R.T. The US delegation, led by the Miami Office, will include some of the largest American shipyards, while other delegations will include ship builders from China, Korea and elsewhere.
The SMART Workshop is a forum for industry players to gain insight into the technological breakthroughs and innovations that are being developed for the shipbuilding industry.
The Workshop will be divided into two segements with one to one meetings the first two days to be followed on the last day by a traditional trade show featuring booths and exhibitions.
