Italian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Look to Expand Distributor Networks at CONDEX 2008
Booth visitors will learn about equipment manufactured for the construction, earthmoving, vegetation management, land clearing and demolition industries.
They will also be able to obtain information on leading Italian equipment companies that are looking to expand distributorships and enhance sales potential in North America.

Italian producers are leading manufacturers and exporters of construction equipment serving markets in over 140 countries. According to the COMAMOTER-Prometeia Observatory, total sales of Italian earthmoving machinery, including components, increased approximately 13% in 2006 to 3.8 billion euros. Italian exports of earthmoving machinery account for about 66% of total production. In 2006 they experienced an increase of 22.7% over the prior year, totaling more than 2.5 billion euros in value. Last year, U.S. imports of Italian construction machinery (including attachments and component parts) totaled approximately $744 million. Italy is the 5th largest foreign supplier and during the first seven months of 2007, exported $355 million worth of construction machinery and components to the United States.
