Latest Italian Construction Equipment to be displayed at 2008 CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show
The very latest Italian off-road construction machinery, components and attachments will be on display at the Italian Pavilion at the 2008 CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show in Las Vegas, March 11-15, 2008.
The Italian Pavilion will be located in the Central Hall of the Convention Center, booths C7100/C7001.
The Italian Trade Commission will host the Pavilion where visitors will get a first-hand look at some of the most innovative Italian construction machinery. Manufacturers’ representatives will demonstrate the advanced technology and unique advantages of Italian equipment.
Visitors will learn about machines designed for the construction, earthmoving, road building, waste handling and demolition industries from the following manufacturers: Acerbis Italia Spa, Italpunte Srl, Carmix Srl, Promove Srl, Fiori Spa, SIP & T Spa, Heila - Italmec, and Socomec Spa.
Visitors will also be able to get information on leading Italian equipment companies that are actively exploring distributor and OEM business partnerships in North America.
Italy is a leading manufacturer and exporter of construction equipment serving markets in over 100 countries worldwide. The United States is the most important market for Italian construction machinery outside of Europe. In 2006, U.S. imports of Italian construction machinery (including attachments and component parts) totaled approximately $744 million. Italy is the 5th largest foreign supplier and, during the first seven months of 2007, exported $355 million worth of construction machinery and components to the United States. Italian equipment is known for innovation, precision engineering, and endurance under rigorous work conditions.
The Italian Trade Commission, in conjunction with COMAMOTER and UCoMESA, is organizing the participation of the Italian companies in this event. COMAMOTER is the Italian earthmoving machinery manufacturers’ association. UCoMESA represents other companies in the construction equipment industry, such as manufacturers of building, road, quarry, and precast machinery.
