TRADE MISSION OF US JOURNALISTS AND ARCHITECTS TO CERSAIE OCTOBER 2 - 6, 2007 BOLOGNA FAIRGROUNDS. BOLOGNA, ITALY
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Cersaie, the world's largest international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings. CERSAIE 2007 will feature over 1000 exhibitors from 32 countries. With 156.000 square meters of exhibitor space, Cersaie is the premier place to see the best new innovative products, cutting-edge designs and the top new trends to hit the market.
The Ceramic Tile Center of the Italian Trade Commission in New York, in cooperation with Confindustria Ceramica - the industry association - is hosting a trade mission of US journalists and architects that will be able to visit Bologna and Cersaie Fairgrounds.
The comprehensive program will include several days at the show, the International Press Conference on Tuesday, October 2 promoted by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) in cooperation with Confindustria Ceramica, and architectural seminar on Thursday, October 4 presented by the Swiss-born architect Mario Botta. The event entitled "Architecture and Memory" is promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organized by Edi.Cer. SpA as part of the architecture day held every year at Cersaie and which last year saw the participation of Pritzker prize-winner Thom Mayne and Massimiliano Fuksas.
