"A Taste of the Authentic Italian Experience" - The Italian Trade Commission and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce launch a new campaign
The Italian Trade Commission in collaboration with the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce has launched a new campaign A Taste of the Authentic Italian Experience in Houston, Texas as part of the ongoing campaign to promote Authentic Italian products. Consumers in the Houston area are invited to experience and explore the authentic flavors of Italian food and wine through special promotions in select locations.
The campaign inaugurated with a press conference event held at the Granduca Hotel in which the Italian Trade Commission presented the project and introduced to members of the trade and press two special guests in attendance: Roberta Corradin, a renowned Italian food journalist and a TV celebrity Chef from Sicily Carmelo Chiaramonte. The event highlighted the versatility of Italian cuisine, underscoring how elegantly Authentic Italian flavors blend with the naturally diverse US cuisine. Chef Chiaramonte prepared a selection of gourmet delicacies for the members of the trade and press at the press conference event, using US cuisine as a framework to showcase Italian culinary traditions. He harmoniously paired the dishes with a selection of wines from Sicily. The purpose of the project is to highlight the versatility of authentic Italian products in other countries.
Texan consumers and restaurant patrons may indulge their senses and join in the excitement of Authentic Italian food through special promotional opportunities available in the Houston area, such as: multiple cooking demonstrations, in-store tastings, featured products in select retailers, as well as special menus offered in the area’s finest restaurants.
