HIGH TECHNOLOGY AT THE SERVICE OF PACKAGING FOR THE EXACTA FILLERS BY RONCHI
These packaging devices are able to meet even the most exacting needs of international customers in terms of dependability, precision, hygiene and safety.
They are produced by Ronchi Packaging , a company based in Lombardy that has been in the business for half a century and has just inaugurated a new, ultra-modern site at Gessate: an area of 20 thousand square metres, of which 12 thousand are covered, for producing an annual average of 85 machines to be sold worldwide.
The company also has offices in the US, the UK, India, Thailand, and China.
Ronchi has always prided itself on its research and development of machines for packaging chemical, cosmetic and food products, and has just brought out a new form of packaging technology that uses electronic flow measuring devices.
These can handle all kinds of products with absolute precision and a high degree of flexibility. The Exacta line of fillers is the most modern and innovative of its kind in the field of bottling liquid or highly viscous products, and is ideal for all applications where flexible and quick and easy cleaning is essential, like: personal hygiene products; pharmaceuticals; foodstuffs; and liquid detergents.
The technology behind the Exacta fillers is based on the use of flow measuring devices that measure volume and weight or mass.
Both types of flow measuring device stand out above the competition for the precision of filling and for the absence of moving parts inside the instrument, meaning that there is no need for maintenance.
The devices are also immune to electrical, electromagnetic and mechanical interference, and can be cleaned and sterilised at a temperature of up to 130 degrees centigrade. Cleaning and sterilisation is fully automatic and configured at the operator panel, while the cleaning solution is collected in a tray that engages automatically, or in a closed-loop system.
The rotary fillers in the Exacta range have between 8 and 60 filling valves, to meet all production needs, and can handle up to 600 bottles a minute.
Quality is also guaranteed by the choice of materials: the mechanical structure is made entirely out of stainless steel, as are also the parts in direct contact with the product. Furthermore, the closed loop system used to meter the product means there is no possibility of the liquid being contaminated with air or other atmospheric agents.
Lastly, research and innovation have eliminated the risk of the product leaking out during the filling process and made all bottle changeover operations both quick and easy.
