The Italian Trade Commission and the Italian Footwear Manufacturers’ Association organized two editions of the Shoes from Italy in different important Asian cities namely Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo. This time, from 24 - 25 February 2011, we have invited 23 premium Italian footwear manufacturers to present their best Autumn/Winter collection at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong.
Our footwear manufacturers have created footwear that are unique and instantly recognizable worldwide by keeping up with the golden “Made in Italy” label - excellent in quality, exceptional in craftsmanship and distinctive in design. From classic men’s shoes to trendy and elegant ladies’ boots, you may even find the most comfortable kids footwear among our exhibitors’ latest collection. After visiting this exclusive exhibition, surely buyers can have a glimpse of the up-and-coming trends.
Italy is the top European footwear supplier to Hong Kong for decades. In 2010, Italy has exported US$327 million worth of footwear products to Hong Kong, recorded an increase of 39% compared to last year and occupied 6.6% of the total market share. Italian footwear remained in high demand, especially for the high-end and luxury markets in Hong Kong.
