ROAD SHOW OF THE ITALIAN  ASSOCIATION CONFARTIGIANATO: 22 - 30 MAY, MUMBAI, TIRUPUR, KOLKATA

A delegation of experts of the Italian Association Confartigianato, representing more than 520.000 small and medium enterprises, will be visiting in India on a mission to develop ties with Indian companies in the textile, clothing and fashion accessories field. The initiative includes the participation of 6 technical Italian craftsmen with proven experience and technical knowledge of foreign markets and operating in the following sectors: clothing, knitting, spinning, textile, furniture and household linen. The delegation will be led by trade officials and analysts of ICE and Confartigianato.   The objective of the mission will seek to know the local production through visits to selected Indian companies and to deepen the market opportunities both for procurement of raw materials (cotton, silk and wool) and for sale of finished products, industrial cooperation and transfer of know-how. The delegation of experts will come together for an initial briefing in Mumbai on May 22nd.
