Textile Machinery Sector
Textile-garment sector, ranked 8th in Thailand’s exports and represents an important economic interest of Thailand. In 2005, the sector generated export for US$3.16 million (an increase of 2.27% year on year). USA is still the major buyer of garment textile. To overcome the challenge, Thailand needs to have more advanced technology and a strong quality improvement. In this scenery Italian machineries have good chance to increase their market share especially in textile dyeing and finishing sector
