VERY HIGH SPECIALISATION AND ATTENTION TO CUSTOMERS IS THE NOVA PROJECT FORMULA
A small but continuously growing business, which since its fairly recent establishment has become an important point of reference for remote control of photovoltaic, wind power and biomass plant operations in Umbria and all the other regions of central Italy: this is Nova Project , a Perugia-based company currently staffed by 30 highly specialised employees, which has developed products that are easy to install, flexible and easily adaptable to individual customers’ needs.
We asked Massimo Tribolati, president of the Umbrian company, what their projects were for the future, the foreign markets from which they planned to expand and those they were aiming at in the long-term.
Tribolati, what are your particular strengths?
NovaProject’s supervision and product control devices have very detailed functions and are extremely simple to set up, which make them suitable for both corporate and private use.
Our strength lies mainly in the fact that we have invested heavily in the area of research and development.
You have not yet started operating on foreign markets; do you intend to do so in the future?
Certainly, it is something we have been thinking about for some time. We have been consulted regarding installations in Austria, Romania and Greece, and one of the markets that particularly interests us is Germany, which is known for being on the cutting edge in the field of renewable energy sources. It is no coincidence that the so-called “Energy Bill” currently in force in Italy has been described as “German-style”. Therefore our main interest in terms of foreign markets is Germany, where we have also been featured in a specialist magazine. I would also add France: we are already collaborating with the main Transalpine power supply company.
How about at a global level?
We are particularly interested in developing countries, such as India and China. In this case, the main problem is the difficulty of managing monitoring at such a distance: our service to clients also includes the possibility of rapid intervention in the event of malfunction, something that would be difficult to ensure in countries so far away. For this reason, in the current phase of company growth we are aiming at consolidating our positions in the Italian market: the moment for foreign markets will be immediately after this.
What are Nova Project’s projects for the future?
We have implemented our Datalogger system with the launch of a new version, which, compared to the previous one, is even simpler to install, customisable and easy for our customers to consult.
The same efficiency, unquestionable product quality, flexible installation and ease of use that has set us apart from other competitors on the international market will also be the strengths of Nova Project products in the future.
