Areta International is an innovative CMO in the field of cell culture for the development of biodrugs: cells for cell therapy, antibodies and recombinant proteins, operating in a ISO 9001 certified and cGMP compliant environment.
Due to its flexible organization and its disposable approach to manufacturing, Areta can tailor the production on the real needs of its clients, even being competitive in terms of time, process and money. Areta, built as a pure services company, has recently reviewed its business model by even envisioning co-development projects with its clients.
Areta is organized in two divisions: Areta Services (GMP and R&D) for contract process development and manufacturing, safety and quality control tests, filling and media fill of biodrugs for clinical trials and Areta Research (Research and Codevelopment of biodrugs).
This division aims, through the participation to National and European Research Projects and ad hoc contracts with Research Centers, to codevelop new potential biodrugs in the field of Advanced Therapies.

Areta is currently involved in different R&D projects mainly in the field of oncology funded by Italian Ministry of health and by the European Community such as: 1) Immunotherapy of Lymphoproliferative HCV-related pathologies through vaccination with recombinant clonotyipic immunoglobulins2) Induction of bone regeneration through implant in patients of autologous mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC)3) Human mesenchymal cells for myocardial tissue reparation.
EXPERTISE: cell culture, scale up, immunochemistry, set up of immunoassays, filling in aseptic conditions of bags and vials of cells and antibodies and media fill.
