ITALY AT ONS 2008 STAVANGER, NORWAY

The ONS fair is one of the world's leading arenas for the energy business. The exhibition provides both exhibitors and visitors with direct access to an offshore sector where investment worldwide is set to reach record levels over the next few years.
The Italian Trade Commission of Oslo was the organizer of the Italian Pavilion situated in Hall J, stand 1028 (216 square meters), where twelve Italian companies (B.F.E. Spa, Fad Flange Spa, Forge Fedriga Srl, Koch Heat Transfer Company, L.V.F. Spa, OMC, OME Metallurgica Erbese Srl, R.O.C.A. Ravenna Offshore Contractors Association, Socotherm Spa, Sonsub As, Titalia Srl, Torresin Titanio Metalli Spa) participated in the following sectors: forgings, fittings, valves, flanges, pipes and piping materials, bolts, nuts and special materials.
For the 2008 edition Italy was also present in the Renewable Energy Park in Hall M, stand 1163 (18 square metres), where folders, catalogues and other information material from the following Italian companies and associations was exhibited: Agrimercati Spa, Art Energy Publishing Srl, Associazione Erre - Energie rinnovabili, Edison Spa, Editrice Alkes Srl - Nuova Energia, Enea, Fea Srl, Green Engineering, Progeco Srl, Soco Snc, Sunerg Solar Srl, Tessari Energia Spa.
The show attracted 1200 exhibitors, half of them from outside Norway. They included major international groups, national pavilions, operators, contractors and suppliers.
More than 38 000 professional visitors from almost 100 countries ranged from high-level executives and politicians to specialists and young professionals were registered.
