 Oslo Italian Festival 2009
On the occasion of the Italian National Day - celebrated on June 2nd - ICE - the Italian Trade Commission, Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy in Oslo, organizes the annual Italian Festival, and we are particularly proud to launch the Oslo Italian Festival 2009.
This fourth edition can offer a complete program with many events that will take place in different parts of the city, from May 25th to June 12th. The objective is to spread knowledge about the Italian lifestyle and about traditional as well as innovative products and services, which all have contributed to enrich the Norwegian culture in different ways.
This year's Oslo Italian Festival, organized in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute and ENIT - the Italian Tourism Board-, will highlight Italian fashion, design, cuisine, wine, cinema, arts and tourism as well as the automotive and other industrial sectors. The festival points at the historical relationship between Norway and Italy: two wonderful countries, two enterprising nations, whose similarities also emphasize their individual characteristics, as the festival's graphic profile suggests.
