GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY
Cast delivers three kinds of services: 1) Technical Assistance, Project Management of large projects and studies for international organisations (European Commission, UNDP, World Bank, EBRD, IFC, etc.); 2)"Globalisation Assistance" to companies who intend to internationalise their business (penetration of foreign markets, joint ventures, investments abroad, relocation); 3)"Strategy and Management Consulting" to companies and organisations such as industry associations, ministries, chambers of commerce, local and regional authorities, etc..


MAJOR PROJECTS
2000 (ongoing), EC - SCR - Phare Business Support Programme, PARTEX "Professional Textile/Clothing Associations Reorganisation in selected Central and Eastern European Countries, CEECs, in preparation for EU membership", Romania, Hungary, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic.
EURATEX, the European Textile Association, has appointed Cast as Project Manager in order to achive the following project objectives:
-To improve the functioning of CEECs Textile/Clothing association.;
-To support and facilitate the identification of twinning opportunities between CEECs and EU
textile associations/organisations;
-To develop a common IT communication infrastructure between EU and CEEC.

1999 - ongoing, EC - MEDA, Framework Contract for the supply of short and medium term experts - LOT 4 Finance (systems, restructuring), accounting, EU MEDA countries, The general objectives of the programme consists of improving the performance and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises within the industry and service sectors in order to support the economic growth of the countries concerned.

2000 - EC - Euro Maroc Entreprise -Assistance to two textile manufacturers. Improvement of the process production (cost reduction, better organisation of flow materials, better employment of production capacity and improvement of quality production). Training for production personnel.
