GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY
Cooperazione Internazionale(COOPI) is a Non Governmental Organization, a non-profit making body, working from 35 years in international cooperation. COOPI operates in 29 countries all over the world, carrying out significant activities. COOPI is actually involved in more than 70 projects concerning emergency, rehabilitation, reconstruction and development intervention in different sectors: health, sanitation, agriculture, training and education.


MAJOR PROJECTS
1998 - 2001 , Italian Cooperation and European Union Support to the mining cooperatives, Bolivia, It aims to support the mineral production process in the mining cooperatives in order to contribute to improving work and health conditions and to impact on the quality of live of the cooperatives' members

1992-2002, European Union and Caritas Internationalis, Support to the district hospital and the surgical hospital, District of Berbera,
Somaliland, North West Somalia, It aims to develop the activities of both hospitals, together the two hospitals contain, 240 hospital beds. The hospital's equipment were upgraded. The staff trained. Healthcare activities were carried out throughout the district and treatment improved within the hospitals.

1996-2002, KFW (German Financial Cooperation), Rehabilitation of healthcare and educational services in the Sub-prefectures de Bocaranga and de Koni and supervision of the same in the Subprefecture de Bozoum, RCA Central African Republic. It aims to involve the functional rehabilitation of basic educational and healthcare services in the first two Sub-prefectures and supervision of these activities in the Sub-prefecture de Bozoum.
