CONSULTANCY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY
FORMAPER is a Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, created in 1987. The main goal of FORMAPER is the promotion of entrepreneurship as well as supporting small and medium sized enterprises trough orientation, training and assistance. Formaper international activity aim is to provide support services and training for the development of the private sector, and our activity is meant to maximise internal skills and capabilities and guarantee sustainable development. Formaper's consulting activity focuses on: SME Development, Regional Development, Training and H.R. Development, export and investment promotion. Formaper provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to complex and often interrelated SME development issues.

MAJOR PROJECTS
2004-2006 "Developing the Export Capacity of Egyptian Own Brand Textiles"
The contract objective is to contribute towards increasing export sales of the Egyptian Textile industry by the establishment of a creative textile design capability in the industry as well as improving the ability of participating companies to develop export markets
2004 "EBIS Programme - Egyptian Business Institutional Support"
The objective of this individual consultancy support is to help the Egyptian Business Representative Organisation to define realistic and sustainable proposals for partnership with an EU institution. This individual consultancy phase is called "Project Proposal Development". Formaper was assigned to support in this phase three SMEs development associations (in Il Cairo, Alexandria, Mansoura) and the Egyptian Textile Association.
2004 on going - ENTERPRISE INCUBATOR PROJECT - Training Program for Armenian IT Company Owners/Top Level Managers
The Project is financed by the credit line received by Government of Armenia from the International Development Association. The purpose of the Project is the organization of internships for Armenian technology company' owners/top-level managers within successful West European IT.
2003-2004 -Training programme for networking development between European enterprises and young professionals from Maghreb
The project objective is to contribute through implementation to the enhancement of the economic and socio-cultural relations between the selected European regions and those of the Southern basin of the Mediterranean. The project will support the economic development in North Africa by means of participation of young professionals from Maghreb in EU companies (of Catalogne, Lombardy and Andalusia), which have economic interests in the area given to the co-operation established between the three partners representing the European regions
2003 -2005 PRIME - Strengthening the SME Competitiveness in the Primorska Region through Networking and Cooperation
The Programme is aimed to design and implement of on-the-job training programme for a team of local experts, which will become key agents in providing assistance programme to SME's in Primorska on developing networks and implementing common projects initiated by clusters.
2002-2003 "Strengthening of the services of Centro Nueva Empresa of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá"
The overall objective of the project was to develop know how transfer to the CCI Bogotá - Centro Nueva Empresa, to improve and innovate services which responds to the needs of would be entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the area. To reach the wider objective the activities implemented were: exchange of experience and know how between partners, creation of a modern system of training of trainers and staff of Centro Nueva Empresa of the CCI Bogotá, development of relations between the CCI Bogotá and regional/local authorities for the setting of an integrated territorial system to support entrepreneurs.
200-2002 Acadia -UE - Canada Internship Programme for EU graduates
1999 - 2003 MTP -NIS I and II Managers Training Programme
This was the largest training programme financed by the European Union (EU). MTP offers 1, 2 and 3 month sponsored internships and training in EU companies working on management projects for Junior and senior managers coming from NIS: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan.

2000 - Central European Initiative - Training of Trainers Programme - Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Law 212/92. The aim of the project was to strengthen the existing or create new capabilities in entrepreneurial training for the Chamber of Commerce trough a training of trainers programme with a specific focus on the development and support of SMEs.

1998 - 2001, Entrepreneurship inculturalisation: networking for global opportunities and development in Austria, India and Italy, EU - DGIB Euforindia Programme. Research in the field of entrepreneurship, Training of Trainers, Training programmes for existing and would-be entrepreneurs, Exchange programme for
Trainers & entrepreneurs.

2001, Expert in local development, Provincia di Buenos Aires e Foro, Programma Integrato di cooperazione tecnica Italia - Argentina - Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the project was create new capabilities in setting up services addressed to would be entrepreneurs inside municipalities. Trough a training of trainers programme with a specific focus on the development and support of SMEs, Formaper trained more than 40 employees of the Provincia of Buenos Aires.
