GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY

MAJOR PROJECTS
2000-2002, EC - TACIS, European Expertise Service phase 5
Russian Federation and NIS, Provision of high level technical advice to the Governments, Parliaments and other relevant decision making bodies and institutions, on:
Reform-orientated, sustainable economic and social policies; Institution building; Reform-enabling legislation.

2000-2005, EC, Project Management Unit of the Algerian SMEs Development Programme, Algeria: Providing Technical Assistance and setting up the Project Management Unit, charged i.a. of the management of the Project Fund; SMEs operational management strengthening; Sectoral study on the SMEs demands for specialised financial services; Shortlist of European investment banks and other intitutions which can offer specialised TA, launch of restricted tender; Technical Assistance to Ministries and other public bodies relevant to SMEs development.

2000-2002, EC, Strengthening Foreign Direct Investment Promotion in Tunisia, Tunisia: Analysis of the target sectors in Tunisia: Promotion activities in EU to attract potential EU investors in the target sectors; Institutional strengthening of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency; Analysis of training, equipment and documentation needs of the Agency headquarters in Tunis as well as in the European and New York branches; Training programmes preparation and implementation

1999 -2004,EC, Support services to strengthen local government in Mpumalanga and Northern Province, South Africa: Develop and agree upon a framework to strengthen local government; Establish provincial capacity to strengthen local government; Select pilot areas, prepare and agree upon improvement programmes; Prepare and deliver a training programme; Strengthen municipal administrative, technical and financial functions; Implement pilot infrastructure services
