Building - the Italian way: the construction industry goes on show at Kazbuild 2014
The best of Italy's construction industry will be in Kazakhstan, to show off its most interesting products to those working in the industry and to establish new business relationships, as well as to build on those that are already in place.
The occasion will be the Kazbuild 2014 trade fair , which takes place from 2 - 5 September in Almaty which, with about 1,200,000 inhabitants, is the country's most populated city.
ICE, the Italian Trade Promotion Agency, in conjunction with Eavet, the trade association of reference for the bathroom fittings sector, will coordinate, for the occasion, a mission made up of 33 businesses that manufacture materials and components for the construction industry, above all those related to the construction of domestic dwellings, focussing in particular on the ancillary industries associated with bathroom installations.
Tiles, bathroom fittings and sanitary ware will in fact be among some of the flagship products, to which those attending the fair will be attracted the most.
Companies will make themselves available to local businesses to offer innovative housing solutions of the utmost quality that are suitable for meeting every need.
Many of them already have well-established and profitable relationships that they are looking to consolidate, but the primary objective is undoubtedly that of establishing new synergies, also as a result of Kazakhstan's staggering rates of urban development.
This makes it attractive for Italian exports in the building sector, above all because there is a specific demand for quality finishes and durable materials, an area in which Italian-manufactured products excel.
The Kazbuild trade fair, in which the Italian mission will occupy a large area of 400 square metres, will consist of several sections (components, aquatherm, decorations), but the one that Italian companies will find the most interesting of all is uncoubtedly the "Interiors" section, because it offers a wide range of high-end products and services, both in terms of materials and finishes.
The exhibition format chosen for this occasion is the well-established simplified stand formula, which offers a better display of the product and is not in any way restrictive when it comes to particular requirements in terms of design.
ICE will be providing the usual services at the trade fair.
These will include a Wi-Fi area from where it will also be possible for companies taking part to connect to the Internet whilst at the fair (something that is greatly sought after) and the support and interpreting services, which are essential for overcoming the language barriers.
ICE's office in Almaty in particular will act as a liaison with the local institutions, promoting opportunities for discussion and direct contact with local businesses.
