Sport shoes, certainly, but always more specialised. After the running line, introduced in spring of 2008 as part of the “Sport that breathes” project, the Geox group continues to focus on the sports footwear sector. The Treviso company is the leading footwear group in Italy, and number two world-wide in the casual-lifestyle sector, according to a classification by the specialist magazine “Shoe Intelligence”. They have recently introduced a new golf collection that incorporates an innovative technology consisting of a sole in a super-breathable net.

In detail, the new models incorporate a breathable, water repellent leather upper with, most importantly, a sole in a net. Combined with the special Geox membrane, this guarantees super-breathability and prevents any external elements from penetrating inside the shoe, which has been designed specifically for golf. Thanks to this patented system (Geox Net System technology), the company assures us, feet remain dry even in the most critical playing conditions. The sole is made up of three elements (the membrane, the protective net and the external frame) which allow feet to breathe without allowing water to enter. How? The breathable, waterproof membrane is applied to the entire length of the sole and is protected from the action of foreign bodies by a sustaining net made from technical material. To this is added an external frame made from cushioning, non-slip and scratch-proof polyurethane and rubber.

The new golf shoe collection features two lines: Pro-tech and Fusion. The Pro-Tech line is designed for professional golfers. These shoes, which are flexible, but at the same time tough enough to stand up to the longest matches and provide stability for the swing, are made from full-grain leather, which has been pre-treated during the tanning stage to ensure its water resistance, durability and softness. Another special feature are the Proflex Trisport cleats, with a Fast-Twist attachment system to ensure the firmest fixture and easy replacement. There are two different choices, one with classic, elegant lines designed for the more traditional golfer, and one that is decidedly more fashionable, with modern lines, which can be worn both on and off the course. The two variations, Woman and Man, come in a choice of three different colours.

The Fusion line is intended both for the fledgling golfer and for those more concerned with achieving results. These models have rugged lines, and materials and accessories of the highest quality, to obtain good results on the green without having to forgo being fashionable. A distinctive feature of this shoe is its versatility: it is pleasant to wear and show off from the first tee until the supper at the end of the round. The Fusion line, both Woman and Man, is presented in three different colours. The new models of Geox Golf shoes are on sale at the main pro shops in the most important European markets, as well as in the United States, Canada, South Korean and Singapore.
