Training course for Indian students

Description

Within the extraordinary Promotion Program in India, approved in May 2007 and financed with 2007 “Made in Italy” funds, ICE will grant scholarships for a specialized course in strategic design.
Such course will be organized on specific request of Indian authorities

Programme
|
The course is meant for maximum 30 selected Indian students with basic culture in the design sector. Its purpose is to increase participants’ specific knowledge in the design field.
Training will take place both in India and in Italy and will be held by the Consortium “POLI.design” of the “Politecnico” of Milan, since Milan is generally recognized as one of the most advanced design poles in the world.
Lessons will begin in September 2008 and end by December 2008.
The course will be divided into three phases:
- A series of orientation seminars held by the Consortium of the “Politecnico” of Milan at the Universities of Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
- Advertising campaign about the course and its terms of admission, made by local ICE offices and selection of candidates.
- High training part carried out in Italy for 3 months by the Consortium POLI.design.
This educational program includes guided visits to firms and to trade fairs of the sector
(“Macef” and “Abitare il tempo”).
The above mentioned study tours will be organized by ICE- International Training Area in cooperation with CFI (Consortium for International Training).
Practical and design training (including workshops in cooperation with Italian companies) will also be provided.
