Description	The ICE - International Training Division - in collaboration with the Poli.design Consortium of Milan and the Savannah College of Art and Design, organises a Training Course on "Design & Innovation - The Italian Experience" addressed to American students from SCAD University in Savannah. It will be held in Savannah from 30th of March up to 2nd of April 2009 and in Milan from 22nd of April up to 15th of May 2009.
Objectives	The project is intended to be an educational experience in which theory and practice are blended together. The aim of the project is to give the participants the basic knowledge of Italian design tools and theory and to experiment the Italian methodology.
Programme	The course will take place from 30th of March until 2nd of April at the Savannah College of Arts and Design, in Savannah, one of the main American Universities specialized in the field of creative arts and design. It will consist in some lessons regarding the Italian Design, held by Italian professors from Poli.design Consortium. At the end of the course, 5 selected students will have the opportunity to participate to a training programme in Italy, consisting in didactic lessons at the Poli.design Consortium, focused on strategic design and visits of excellence at international fairs and showrooms and meetings with companies, cluster and institutions.
