TRAINING SEMINAR IN BULGARIA on "Practical issues in foreign trade"

The ICE International Training division and the ICE office in Sofia will hold a two-day Training Seminar in Bulgaria on "Practical issues in foreign trade". Topics will include International commercial contracts, Negotiating techniques, Making the most of participation in international trade fairs, Italian export consortia.
This Seminar, targeting middle management from Bulgarian SMEs, is part of a successful series of management training initiatives organised with our now long-standing partners, the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA), a Government body operating within the framework of the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism.
Venues and dates: Sofia, 9-10 November and Plovdiv, 12-13 November 2009

Objectives

These Seminars are part of a wider ICE programme whose aim is to develop trade relations between Italy and its partners, through the enhancement of knowledge and expertise in the fields of international management and trade.

Programme
|
Two experts from Italy will be delivering presentations on three main subjects.
Mr. Silverio Ianniello
International commercial contracts. Topics will include drafting techniques, types of contracts, terms and conditions of specific interest (e.g. financing and insurance), international trade agreements, how to conduct commercial negotiations, case studies.
Mr. Franco Tempesta
How to prepare for and to optimise participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions.
Italian export consortia - legal basis, what they are and how they function, sources of funding, benefits to participating companies.
