THE OFFICIAL ITALIAN PAVILION AT THE WINTER FANCY FOOD SHOW
The Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco is traditionally dedicated mainly to specialty foods, while the section for wines and spirits occupies a limited space. The show is open to trade only.
This year's event, now at its 37th edition, will cover an area of approximately 226,000 square feet with about 1,300 exhibitors. According to the estimates of the show organizers, National Association for Specialty Food Trade (NASFT), the exhibition will see the presence of approximately 17,000 visitors, representing the following categories: importers, cooking schools, consultants, press, distributors, producers, restaurant owners and operators of hotel restaurants.
The Italian pavilion, organized again this year by the Italian Trade Commission in New York, will occupy an area of approximately 7,500 square feet and will host close to 6 0 exhibitors, including regional groups, export consortia and chambers of commerce. Some of the best genuine "Made in Italy" products will be showcased: olive oil and balsamic vinegar, pasta, prosciutto, preserved vegetables, confectionery and baked goods, cheeses, tomato products and fine wines.
Among the foreign exhibitors, the Italian group will be again the largest in both size and number of companies.
There will be an Italian Trade Commission Information Center located inside the Italian Pavilion at booth 3845.
