Main Activity
CREABILIS Therapeutics is a drug discovery and development biotech company, with the aim to discover, select, develop, and bring to commercial fruition novel and highly innovative therapeutic agents.
The main products of the company are:
- CT327 is a patented, PEGyated derivative of K-252a. CT327 is a selective inhibitor of TrkA intended for topical administration in psoriasis treatment. MoA: CT327 inhibits NGF signal responsible for keratinocyte hyperproliferation in psoriasis.
- CT335/6 are PEGylated derivatives of K-252a with shorter PEG chains intended to be developed as systemic treatment for Behçet's Disease. An application for orphan drug status is under submission. MoA: CT335/6 markedly decrease blood concentration of several pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-alpha, IFN-gamma, MIP-1 alpha, and so on.
- CT500s are HMGB1 BoxA variants generated to obtain higher resistance to plasma proteases and mantain same or increased activity. CT500s work as RAGE receptor antagonists, thus interfering with AGE (Advanced Glycation End-products) binding. CT500s are intended for the treatment of diabetes complications caused by excessive AGE accumulation in blood.
