ULI FALL MEETING 2007 VENETIAN HOTEL LAS VEGAS, NEVADA OCTOBER 23-26, 2007

The Investments Desk of the Italian Trade Commission of New York, in collaboration with Assoimmobiliare, the Italian real estate association, will participate at this year's Urban Land Institute Fall Meeting taking place October 23-26 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Meeting in Las Vegas is a major real estate development and land use event that will be attended by the industry's top decision makers and professionals who represent cutting-edge technology and services in sectors such as development, financial services, design and planning, and construction.
With their participation at the event, the Trade Commission and Assoimmobiliare aim to raise awareness about Italy's dynamic and increasingly sophisticated real estate market and, at the same time, to present several of Italy's real estate and urban development projects.
The two organizations will in fact showcase several innovative Italian real estate development projects promoted by prominent Italian groups such as Toti Group, RDM - Fingen Group, SECI Real Estate, Todini Group, Alite RE, Sigest - Soluzioni Immobiliari, and will highlight the sector's distinctive concepts and processes advocated and used by companies such as LFT - Laboratorio Finanza Territorio and Vegagest SGR.
The projects, belonging to the Office, Hospitality, Retail and Residential segments, are all at the cutting edge of Italy's land development and present US groups unique opportunities for financial and development partnerships.
The organizations will also host a seminar on Thursday October 25, which will highlight the projects and discuss the major trends affecting the Italian real estate markets as well as the main dynamics of investing in it.
Over the last 10 years the Italian real estate sector has undergone a significant modernization process, which has led to a remarkable growth in revenues, employment and number of deals and has increased the level of financial sophistication and transparency, spurring foreign groups to invest Euro 4 billion in 2005 alone. With over 300 urban transformation projects in the pipeline in 2006, the country has been witnessing a real renaissance of development activity spanning from the redevelopment of urban areas to waterfront revitalizations, from mixed-use development projects to new resorts and facilities for the hospitality industry, from new high-quality logistics parks to shopping centers and office space developments.
